Cosmetic Neck Procedures

Caring for ageing skin isn’t exclusive to your face. The skin on your neck also shows signs of ageing caused by sun damage, environmental factors and unhealthy lifestyle habits.

Neck procedures are becoming one of our most popular treatments.
Thanks to new advances in technology, we are able to offer “Neck Lift” with a range of non-surgical treatment options.

What are the Benefits of Non-surgical Neck lift?
They help improve skin tone and texture, reduce the appearance of neck folds and give the contour of your neck a more youthful look.

Recovery times for many non-surgical neck lift procedures range from just a few hours to a few days. Side effects are generally minimal and include redness, swelling and mild tenderness at an injection site.

How to treat Prominent Neck Bands?
As the skin is thin on the neck, it becomes even more thin as we age which accentuates the appearance of neck muscle bands. If these bands became prominent, injecting small amounts of Botox directly into them will soften their appearance. A few days following the injection, the bands appear to fade away and will also help smooth the horizontal lines in the neck.

What can be done about Horizontal Necklines?
Neck creases are formed as skin elasticity diminishes with ageing. These horizontal neck wrinkles become deeper over time. They can be minimised with injectable fillers. Fillers fill the creases and restore lost volume to the skin of the neck. Results are instant and typically last for several months.

Can Thread Lift be used on the Neck?
Threads are used for both neck lift and neck rejuvenation as different types of threads are used accordingly.

For rejuvenation, PDO mono threads would be suitable as they are completely smooth and will improve neck creases. To achieve a neck lift, PLA or PCA threads must be used to maintain the required lift. They have barbs/cones which provide support and lift the sagging skin.

Collagen that is formed around the threads resulting in an increased effect. The longer the threads last the more collagen is stimulated and therefore the result is much better and longer lasting.

What is the best procedure for saggy neck?
For patients who are concerned with skin elasticity, we offer different neck procedures to tighten loose or sagging skin on the neck. We combine some of these treatments for the best results.

  • Skin Boosters
Skin boosters are injectable that are used to hydrate the skin and promote formation of new collagen and elastin in the long term. They are injected directly into the dermis to hydrate and improve skin quality.
  • Plasma Injections
Plasma is a portion of whole blood that is taken from your own blood and separated from the red blood cells through centrifuging. It contains high concentrations of platelets. These platelets contain many “Growth factors” which stimulate the stem cells. These stem cells stimulate new collagen and slow the signs of ageing by reducing fine lines and skin complexion.

  • Microneedling
During the procedure, microchannels are created in the skin. These micro channels does not damage the skin, but makes the body respond as if there is actual injury. This stimulates inflammatory response with release of growth factors and stimulate collagen production. It reduces fine wrinkles and improves skin texture.

  • Fractionated ablative lasers
These lasers create micro-columns of destruction while surrounded with intact areas of skin. This creates heat damage to the first two layers of the skin leading to new collagen formation.

  • Radiofrequency
The procedure involves using energy waves to heat the deep layer of your skin known as your dermis. This heat stimulates the production of collagen which creates the framework of your skin and gives your skin its firmness.
