Plasma Treatment for Face

Plasma Treatment for Face

Platelet Rich Plasma “PRP” is a procedure that uses your own blood to repair damaged tissues in the body.

Its use in medical conditions started mainly by Orthopedic Surgeons and Dentists, but by now it is one of the most popular procedures that is done in “Skin and Aesthetic clinics” for treating face and hair problems

What exactly is PRP ?

PRP stands for “Platelet Rich Plasma”. Plasma is a portion of whole blood that is separated from the red blood cells through centrifuging. It contains high concentrations of platelets. These platelets contain many “Growth factors” which stimulate the stem cells. Then, these stem cells stimulate new collagen and slow the signs of ageing.

How is the plasma procedure done ?

PRP is 3-step procedure that involves having your blood:

  1. Drawn from your arm.
  2. Placed into a machine that separates the plasma from the rest of your blood.
  3. Plasma is Re-injected into your Face or Hair.

At the Klinic, we use the special “Plasma Tubes” that can significantly increase the efficiency of plasma injection. Tubes with special kits can increase concentration of platelets enriched with growth factors.

It is great natural option for face rejuvenation & can be combined with other procedures to treat skin problems.

  • Diminish Dark spots, sun spots, freckles.
  • Diminish Acne scars, post-surgical scars.
  • Improve dark circles around the eyes.
  • Improve Wrinkles.

Plasma is also injected after Facial Fillers and Thread-lift for better prolonged results.

Results take a while to show up, but most people will notice tightening of the skin within few days with overall healthier look.

How many Plasma injections do you need?

For treating Skin problems, it is recommended to do 2 – 4 sessions specially in cases with scarring and skin damage. Assessment is done if more sessions are needed depending on the severity of the case.
